Alex Cirone started up the Buenos Aires operation in 1988, thus attaining a leading position in our profession in Argentina and Chile. He has been appointed member of the Executive Committee and, as Regional Vice President, currently manages the Buenos Aires office, covering executive search practice and management consulting in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay being responsible for the supervision of Colombia, Peru and Ecuador.
His broad experience in H.R. and international management is complemented by his familiarity with business operations in other functional areas, and a thorough awareness of cross-cultural and interpersonal dynamics in the management of organizational change.
His professional career includes positions in general human resource management at PepsiCola International, as a Regional Manager in South America and as an Employee Relations Manager at the Worldwide Headquarters in Somers, New York. Previously he held a position as Industrial Relations Manager at Johnson Wax Argentina.
At the start of his career, he acquired consulting experience in leading consulting firms specialized in Organizational Development and Compensation.
He graduated from High School at General San Martin Military School and Air Force Academy where he obtained his third degree. Alex has a degree in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and completed his doctoral studies in Industrial Sociology at the UADE (Argentine Business University). He further attended the "Senior Marketing Program" at the Columbia University and the "Advanced Human Resources Program" at the University of Michigan.
His experience living abroad has given him a sound and diverse knowledge of both North American, as well as Latin American cultures. He speaks Spanish, English and some Portuguese.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Argentina appointed Mr. Cirone Member of the Board of Directors with responsibility for the Emerging Companies Committee.
He is also Member of FUNDECE, multinational and local CEO's Institute of Excellence and Total Quality for Argentina.
