Mr. Schuler joined Korn/Ferry International in November 1992 as Associate Director to strengthen the Financial Services practice in the Caracas office. He comes from Midland Bank where he served for six years as Director of International Trade and Deputy Group Representative for Colombia, Venezuela and the Netherland Antilles.
His fourteen years of banking experience was initiated at Citibank in the World Corporate Banking Group in Caracas. Mr. Schuler received a B.S. in Mathematics at the California State Polytechnic University (Pomona) in 1971 and thereafter joined the U.S. Army.
In 1976 he became a commissioned officer after graduating from OCS and earned his M.A. degree in Personnel Management and Supervision from Central Michigan University in 1978, shortly after leaving the Army.
He is a member of the Executive Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce in Venezuela, the Venezuelan Institute of Finance Executives, and member of the Association of the Foreign Bank Representatives in Venezuela.
